Volunteer Teaching Projects in India! Teach English to Children in India.

Teach English Volunteer program in India

The Commonwealth nation of India has a long and intertwined history with the British Empire. That is why the English language is so vital for people who want to achieve prosperity in this country. While India’s economy is booming at the moment, there are still millions of impoverished women and children who lack the essential language education they require to make something of themselves and improve their quality of life. That is why iSpiice works hard to provide support and assistance through our Teach English in India program.

One of the most significant problems for young people in India relates to a lack of education. Our teaching English program is designed to turn that situation around and let volunteers use their skills to change the lives of these disadvantaged students. As a volunteer in India, you will enjoy working in partner institutions and on independent projects. You will find students who are eager to learn, the atmosphere is quite good, you will love it, and it will be an exciting time helping the children polishes their skills in English and at the same time improving your English teaching skills. Volunteer certificate – Offered after Program completion & references. (on request)

Most of the students are from Himalayan Mountains who has not a sound knowledge of English. You do not have to be an English teacher to volunteer in this program, given that it is only an attempt to give the children a different perspective of the language, one is not required to offer an in-depth knowledge of English grammar, all that is needed is accuracy and a willingness to motivate the children to improve their English speaking, reading and writing skills.

Study materials are provided in the iSpiice volunteer house. Children love to learn from a foreign individual. Volunteers teach them with fun, so they feel more interest in English. Your time and contribution can make a huge difference in community, so don’t miss the opportunity to volunteer.

• Program includes airport pickup & drop off, accommodation in volunteer house, hot running showers, wi-fi, with 3 meals everyday & much more. Volunteers can take part in incredible optional add-ons, including a Taj Mahal in Agra & much more. All details are mentioned below.

Volunteer Program Location.

Currently, program available in Dharamsala location and iSpiice volunteer house is based one hour drive from Dharamsala. Dharamsala offers magnificent views of the snow-covered Himalayan peaks, pine forests and tea gardens. Full of life yet also peaceful, Dharamsala offers the perfect destination for volunteer work in India. Not surprisingly, His Holiness the Dalai Lama holds residency in the area. Volunteers can explore the different monasteries and Buddhist temples.

The region, despite its natural beauty, is cut off from mainstream development and is in need of developmental assistance in both materials and human form. The communities we assist are set in the green valleys at the foothills of the Himalayas and many of the children are from farming communities in the area.

Arriving in Dharamsala is like stepping into another world. With its remarkable natural beauty. Volunteering at stunning location of Himalayas, at Dharamsala.
