Where in India will I be working?

Currently, program available in Dharamsala location and iSpiice volunteer house is based one hour drive from Dharamsala. Dharamsala offers magnificent views of the snow-covered Himalayan peaks, pine forests and tea gardens. Full of life yet also peaceful, Dharamsala offers the perfect destination for volunteer work in India. Not surprisingly, His Holiness the Dalai Lama holds residency in the area. Volunteers can explore the different monasteries and Buddhist temples. The communities we assist are set in the green valleys at the foothills of the Himalayas and many of the children are from farming communities in the area. Arriving in Dharamsala is like stepping into another world. With its remarkable natural beauty.

Volunteer Reviews

“Volunteering with iSpiice has been one of the most amazing things I have ever done. My three weeks with the program was both rewarding and life changing. My 17-year-old daughter and I were well looked after, from the moment we stepped off the plane until saying goodbye to begin our own adventures. I was very pleased with the low cost of the program and how well I was looked after. Not only is ispiice an amazing way to volunteer, but it also gives amazing opportunities to explore the rest of India with many extra tours.

I also found the iSpiice team to be extremely warm, helpful and generous with their time ensuring all needs of volunteers were met. The absolute highlight for me was working with the children who had a burning desire to learn, my only regret was that my teenage daughter and I could not stay longer.

John Rodgers from Australia.
