WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT VOLUNTEER PROGRAM IN INDIA

Rural women in Asia are among the most disadvantaged people in the world in terms of decision-making power and access to development opportunities. Volunteer for the women empowerment project in India without any TEFL qualification or teaching experience. Through offering education and training activities to women and girls. You will be equipping them with tools that they can use to uplift their standards of living. Women don’t have the same opportunities in rural India as they might in the Western world. For that reason, iSpiice has set up Women’s Empowerment groups in local communities where volunteers teach basic English & basic computer skills to find employment and improve their circumstances. Most of the women are housewives who did not get a chance to finish their education due to early marriage.

Some of the skills that are imparted in these training sessions include Teaching basic English, writing skills, CV writing, job application, and interviewing skills among others. Women empowerment program also offer you the opportunity to teach young girls & children at the age from 6 to 13 years old. This program makes an excellent opportunity for volunteers to work with both women & children in one program because most of the children that come to our center are the children of the women and it is better for the young ones to be with their mothers. As a volunteer in a women’s empowerment program, you will not only have a chance to impart skills and knowledge but also an opportunity to interact with rural women. Program includes pickup & drop off from airport, accommodation in volunteer house with other volunteers, hot running showers, wi-fi, with 3 meals everyday & much more. Volunteers can take part in incredible optional add-on-trips including a Taj Mahal in Agra, Delhi city tour, Jaipur trip, Trekking in Himalayas, Varanasi & Haridwar pilgrimage trip & much more.
